Forest Frenzy - mobile ad network banner implementation
Now that our ad network is in place across a couple of our Android projects (currently live in Forest Frenzy and Brain Games), we began focusing on implementing the system within our iOS projects.
The required changes included:
Once everything was in place, we were able to test and verify that the system worked as expected across both platforms.
At this point, we were ready to ship.
Forest Frenzy became the first iOS project to adopt the new ad network, with Brain Games scheduled for a similar update soon.
During testing, we noticed an issue with the initial banner assets.
The original 320x50 banners appeared blurry and pixelated on iOS devices, which led us back to the drawing board.
To solve this, we redesigned the banner system by:
This resulted in significantly improved visual quality across iOS devices.
